Sporting Vs Lokomotiv Voted Season’s Best Game
The poll deciding the season’s best game, held in the official VK group, is over.
The shortlist for fans to choose from comprised five fixtures:

And the season’s best game is the 1:3 away win over Sporting. 3676 votes or 67,9 % of total vote were cast in favour of this game.
The second spot went to Lokomotiv vs Zenit (2:0), which got 1088 votes or 20%. Spartak vs Lokomotiv (1:2) landed the third place with 349 votes or 6,4%.
Lokomotiv’s encounter with Sporting opened our European campaign. The Railwaymen scored an early opener on 12 minute, and virtually played the other team off the pitch in the first half. At the beginning of the second half the Red-Greens conceded but carried on undaunted. In six minutes Alexander Samedov scored a brace, and nine minutes later Baye Oumar Niasse wrapped it up.
