Victor Obinna came into spotlight early in his career. When the 18-year old forward stroke his first professional contract with Chievo from Italy, the club was playing in Serie A. Meanwhile, his transfer list was owned by Inter Milan, where Victor managed to make his way to three years later.
Still hungry for more playing time, the young Nigerian wet on loan to the neighboring Spain to play for Malaga. The following season Victor went to West Ham where he made friends with his future Lokomotiv teammate Manuel Da Costa from Portugal.
In June 2011, Victor Obinna signed a contract with Lokomotiv.
