Eder: They are following Fernandes in Portugal
Lokomotiv striker Eder has come to #OurCherkizovoLIVE studio to tell about the victory over Dynamo, white glove and the goal.
- I wasted a good scoring opportunity early in the game but I continued working and it ended up in a goal. I took the ball from three defenders and sent it home. It's important that I helped the team.
- How many white gloves do you have?
- Two, right and left. It was one of my first requests when I came here, to buy white gloves. We bought a pair the day before we played against Rostov and I put one on soon.
- What does a white glove mean?
- This is my motivation. When I put on a white glove it's like getting one step closer to my dream. I want to finish as high as possible with Lokomotiv and score as much as possible for the club and the national team. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to go through the preparation period with the team but I'm getting fit right now and starting to help the team.
- You are playing alongside Manu Fernandes and the Miranchuk brothers. How do you like these partners?
- They help me and I try to help them. If I see a teammate in a better position I'll never keep the ball. A team result is what matters.
- You are going to join the Team Portugal. Will you put a word in for Fernandes?
- Manuel is a great player. Everyone knows it. Fernandes helped me a lot with adaptation here and deserves the best. Of course, they are following him in Portugal.
