Alexey Miranchuk: I want to remain at Lokomotiv

Lokomotiv midfielder Alexey Miranchuk has joined the hosts of #OurCherkizovoLIVE to tell about the season result, his own future and the Russia team.

- We didn't play to the max against Zenit. It's hard to tell right after the game why so. Bluntly, the season ended not exactly like we wanted. But we made to the European competition. Next season we must show what we're made of.

- There're lost of transfer rumors around you.

- I want to remain at Lokomotiv. I'm happy with everything here, I like the guys' attitude and the fans.

- And your play has improved dramatically this season.

- Yes, statistics show this, although I don't like reading it. Yes, both goals and assists are important, but play is important too. I have managed to become better in some respects. I hope I will go on like this.

- What are your plans for the summer?

- I have been longlisted for the Russia team for the Confederations Cup so I didn't really plan to go on vacation. Gotta wait and see the shortlist. I feel trust of the national team's coaches and hope to play at the Confederations Cup. Also, I want to thank the supporters!
